Talalla Beach Clean Up

At sunrise on Saturday the 4th of Jan, Talalla staff, guests and locals all gathered together, coconut in hand, to collect rubbish along our local beach. Today we are going to share that great experience of the Talalla Beach Clean up program.

Starting the new year on a positive note, and with the intention to give back to this beautiful place we call home, it was a group effort that resulted in collecting over 20 large bags of rubbish.

This was followed by the sorting process to ensure that the rubbish was separated into the proper categories to be recycled. This was the fun part as we sorted into hard and soft plastics, metals and aluminum, glass, rope, cardboard, and organic waste.

A massive thank you to everyone who rose out of bed early and helped play a part in the cleanup! Our plan is to hold regularly organized cleanups however for anyone staying with us we will always have bags available to take down to the beach!
