February Retreat: Nutrition, Yoga, and Wellness

Next month, we are partnering with our friends at The Wave and The Wellness Therapy to host a special nutrition, yoga, and wellness retreat for seven days here at Talalla. The retreat will restore energy, balance, and harmony while offering you a totally stress-free, unforgettable life experience. Lally from the Wellnes sTherapy will guide you through gentle vinyasa flows, restorative yoga, meditation, mindfulness and pranayama sessions. Using these sessions as tools to release physical and emotional tension. Wit

h a focus on brining the body and mind to their natural state; a state, free of tension and totally restored. She will also lead interactive discussions and workshops on holistic health, ayurveda, powerful plants & herbs as well as how to create a sacred space for your own yoga and/or meditation practice. Thanks to her strong biomechanics foundations, constant training and deep yoga practice, Claudia’s classes are a dynamic flow of mind-body conditioning exercises, which functionally strengthen thorax, deep abdominals and pelvic muscles. She focuses on quality of movement, body control and postural alignment. Her exercises are a fusion of pilates principles, Yoga Asanas and neurodynamic mobilisation techniques which she combines with manual facilitations and soft tissue techniques. She will be also leading the interactive talks and workshops on plant based nutrition.

Our aim for this retreat is that participants receive personalised advice on how to improve their health & lifestyle, we will share techniques & exercises to incorporate into their everyday life.


Outside of your set retreat programme, there will be time to EXPLORE, so we encourage you to have a little wanderlust. Sri Lanka has a lot to offer and we want you to experience it all. National parks filled with wild and amazing animals, ocean whale & dolphin watching, fun train rides, Buddhist temples, tea plantations, rice and curry feast and much more!

But if you like a different kind of ADVENTURE by the sea, you could go for a sunset surf, whether you are a beginner or an advanced surfer, here in Southern Sri Lanka there will be waves for you, so don’t be shy and let your adventurous soul show through.
